Michael W. Kaluta covering Epic Illustrated. I could only find small versions of the cover, but I did find a larger version of the original by Kaluta, necessary to appreciate his delicate linework and wonderful detail.
First time I got a shout-out for a thread comment was a big deal (that would have been during the Watchmen Footnotes the Geeks did leading up to the film) . . . Also managed to Stump the Rios and Muddle the Murd (took me a handful of tries for both of those) . . . And @Adam_Murdough calling for my input regarding the characterization of Gorilla Grodd by Geoff Johns in his most recent Time Bubble have all been highlights.
But my favorite time "in the spotlight" was when the Geeks invited me on the show to go through the June, 2010 Previews catalog with them (ep. 866), while allowing me to talk about the self-published anthology I co-created and co-wrote that was available for order through DCBS that month, as well. Enlivening a discussion is not something that comes natural for me, and I don't know that I added much to the overall talk in the episode, but it was fun nonetheless, and I am still grateful for their generosity.
