I'm... done?!?

Sometime this week, I will receive a used TPB of a Psylocke mini series that came out a few years back. Simply put, it's the LAST comic I need to complete an EIGHTY volume run of X-Men binds. The first 51 volumes have already come and gone from Herring and Robinson. I've got the remaining 29 ready to go (spread out over a few months, of course). In addition, I've got a handful of random binds that I've set aside as filler over the course of the last 4-5 years.

Once these books are done, I don't have anything else that I'm chomping at the bit to have bound. It feels SO strange to be reaching the 'end' of this project that I've been working on for so long. Still have plenty of book covers to work on, so that will keep the project rolling for a bit.

It's been an odd feeling to see my 'collection' depleted (condensed) over the course of binding my books. But, I really look forward to my son getting to opportunity to inherit these.

That's awesome. Simply completing all of your runs and reaching the end of your collection. What a strange feeling of accomplishment and melancholy that must be.

thats great. After a rush of 20 or so I had to back off with plenty of piles left to go.
